Ruddingtonians will get to see our local “Pointless” stars AGAIN – after they reached the “Head to Head” stage of the popular BBC TV quiz presented by Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman on Friday.
Father and daughter David and Megan McFarlane low-scored their way through to the penultimate round against Matilda and Amanda. But their opponents got to play first in a set of options about “Short Stories and Novellas” – and stole the lowest scoring answer!
Consequently David & Megan missed out on the potential jackpot of £6,500 – but it meant the duo had another chance to compete. We can see their second appearance this Bank Holiday Monday at the slightly later time of 5.30pm on BBC1.
The episodes were actually recorded down in Elstree last summer! David told RUDDINGTON.info: “ I was apprehensive but it was good fun.” However he’s remaining tight-lipped about how they got on the second time…
If you miss their second appearance “live” you can catch up after the broadcast on BBC iPlayer >>HERE<<.
